河道疏浚问题一直是我国河道整治的重要难题。为保证河道正常运行国内近年来进行了大量的河道清淤工程从而产生了大量的工程淤泥，而对于大面积的淤泥常采用修剪排泥堆场的方法集中收集淤泥使淤泥自然干化，但这种方法由于底泥与周围环境直接接触易造成二次污染，存在着较大弊端。
