固化处理方法是目前国内大规模处理疏浚淤泥的最适宜的处理方法。化学固化处理是在淤泥中添加固化材料，通过搅拌和混合，引起固化剂和水发生一系列物理化学反应，使其力学性质改变，从而可以改善淤泥的高含水率和低强度的性质，处理后的淤泥具有高强度、低渗透的性质。
